All email sent from SubMrg has a hyperlink at the bottom to unsubscribe from future announcements. You can also edit your email preferences at the account details page.
Why would I want to answer questions about myself?
Publishers both big and small want to know their audience. This helps them target content and make more money from advertising. By answering questions about yourself you directly support publications that you subscribe to.
Information you share with SubMrg publishers is reported in aggregate. No identifying information is transferred. You can read more at our privacy policy page.
What's up with the name?
We're all about dropping E's? Vowels are overrated. It's friggin web two oh. And Ajaz. It was either SubMrg or badgester.com.
What tools were used to develop Submrg?
SubMrg was developed in PHP5 using ADODB, and PHPTAL. SubMrg uses a MySQL5 database. The front end relies heavily on MochiKit? and Yahoo's UI library.
What browsers will Submrg work in?
SubMrg is tested in Firefox 1.5+ on Windows and Mac platforms, Internet Explorer 6, Internet Explorer 7 beta, Safari 2.x+ and Opera 9.
Is there an API?
SubMrg uses a hybrid JSON/PHPTAL templating system. You can view the data underlying each page by appending json=1 or xml=1 to the end of any URL. This is currently undocumented and we have no concrete plans for an API at this time. Please don't hesitate to contact us directly, over the email list, or in the forum with feature requests.
